To showcase unidentified footballing talent in Poland.

Robert Lewandowski was not considered good enough for top flight football by his peers and was eventually spotted by Lech Poznan when he was 20 years of age.
Jamie Vardy was 26 years old when he was signed by Leicester City, prior to joining Leicester City he played in non-league 8th division football in England, he is now England’s 1st team choice in attack.

To highlight the need for a national structured scouting framework.

To break the common-mould when developing youth talent.

"I find it terrible when talents are rejected based on computer stats. When I was 15, I couldn’t kick a ball 15 meters with my left and maybe 20 with my right. My qualities of technique and vision, are not detectable by a computer"

Johann Cruyff

  • Colin Chambers IPSO says:

"Representing scouts worldwide this is a massive opportunity for young football talent to show case their skills and develop in a top professional environment and perform in front of Polish Football clubs as well as top clubs from around the world. There is plenty of unseen talent in all four corners of the world, you are in a privileged position as we start in Poland. With our experience we know there is a lot of talent that doesn’t get noticed and this is a great opportunity to show everyone who is waiting to be picked up. We at IPSO fully endorse the '11th Man' fantastic project and with all parties involved we are sure for a great outcome through our experience and knowledge of who’s out there waiting to be the next Robert Lewandowski or Jamie Vardy”.
  • Tom Gibney says:

"The 11th Man event will bring to the surface the best of the overlooked football talent here in Poland. There are 101 reasons why young talent is released from Professional Football Club Academies too soon or they just have not been given the opportunity to perform at a level within their capabilities. It is our goal to find the next great football talent."
